We know,yosion app 1.5.6 is the best version,because there are lessgarbledmessages,so althong 1.6.7 had been released,there are still many users using yosion app 1.5.6 .

One Ipod Touch Can Use Two Yosion Apple Peel 520ii？

One friend give a question that whether one ipod touch can use double yosion apple peel 520ii,in fact,it doesn't.because you should bind your peel 520ii with the ipod touch SN.Of course you can bind another new peel 520ii but you should unbind the old peel 520ii with your ipod touch SN(via)

I bought a 520ii peels in china but when I returned to US, I found it is not usable because it is dual-band.
I asked a friend to by a quad band peel and send it to me and it is on its way.  I am wondering if  one ipodtouch can use two 520ii peels?
if so, how is it done?

1.Why would you want to use both Peels?  The quad band should work everywhere.

2.Add the default ID;
3.Resolve the problem that messages will be lost after restart touch;

Tips:the new update of yosion app 1.5.2 didn't resovle the peoblems on GPRS,so i suggest you don't update to yosion app 1.5.2 if your peel can be usednormally.

Ipod Touch 2G 4.2.1 with Yosion 0.97 ran already for a few days perfectly, but now it doesnt anymore. Reset all Settings doesnt work, too(Popup is shown for hours -.-).

Yosion announced a few days ago that they managed to get GPRS data/internet access working on the Apple Peel 520. This functionality will be available in an upcoming update of the Yosion Call and SMS apps. A release date is not yet given, but rumors say that it won't take long anymore.

Furthermore they announced that a special version of the Apple Peel 520 for the iPod Touch 4th generation is expected in January 2011! More updates will follow soon!

Yosion Apple Peel 520 SMS receives text messages in Chinese characters.

Hi, I'm a Canadian using the Apple Peel 520 on Rogers.

My iPod is set to United States / English

I can send and receive Phone calls fine.
I can send text messages fine.

But when I receive messages, it is in Chinese characters.
How do I fix this? Or do I have to wait for an update?

I have the same problem, and I am in the US.
I think it only happens on longer text messages. Most messages I have gotten dont have the issue, every time it occured I got a long text message.

A:

I'm getting it on short one-word messages too. Words like "test" come out in Chinese characters. Messages are sent from an iPhone 4 and received on the Apple Peel in Chinese characters.

This happens after the recent update too.

Apple Peel 520 Screen Light Up When Getting A Call

I just discovered this and thought I would share. If you install Insomnia from Cydia, the screen will light up when receiving calls. With both this and the backgrounder trick I found in another thread (install Backgrounder, add overrides for the calling and texting apps, set backgrounding to off), as long as the peel itself doesn't turn off you should always be able to receive calls.

Insomnia stops the ipod from fully going into sleep mode when you press the lock switch. Backgrounder stops the apps from backgrounding.

If your on OS 4.X, try opening the calling app, go back to the home screen and then lock it. If you call it, it will ring but the screen will stay off. If you install these apps, if you call it the screen will light up and you will be able to accept or decline the call.

The only drawback is that battery life is slightly decreased

Now can instantly pickup calls instead of pressing the square and waiting for screen to lit. Will test and see how it affects the battery.
