Yosion Apple Peel 520 SMS receives text messages in Chinese characters.

Hi, I'm a Canadian using the Apple Peel 520 on Rogers.

My iPod is set to United States / English

I can send and receive Phone calls fine.
I can send text messages fine.

But when I receive messages, it is in Chinese characters.
How do I fix this? Or do I have to wait for an update?

I have the same problem, and I am in the US.
I think it only happens on longer text messages. Most messages I have gotten dont have the issue, every time it occured I got a long text message.

I'm getting it on short one-word messages too. Words like "test" come out in Chinese characters. Messages are sent from an iPhone 4 and received on the Apple Peel in Chinese characters.

This happens after the recent update too.
